Heywood Rural Health has an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer Coordinator. The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment, coordination and management of the organisational wide volunteer program. The part-time role is a minimum of 8 hours a week, with opportunity for growth and skill-building within the department

 

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

 

•               Well-Developed organisational and interpersonal skills; as well as communication skills

•               Ability to relate and collaborate with a wide variety of members of the public

•               Ability to work independently and as part of a team

•               Knowledge of loss & grief principles;

•               High moral and ethical values;

•               Understanding of the principles of volunteering and the National Standards of Volunteering

•               Clear understanding of the importance of privacy and confidentiality

•               Computer skills;

•               A driver’s licence;

•               Knowledge of/ability to quickly grasp HRH information and support systems;

•               Required police check and all vaccinations (Covid 19 and Influenza).
